Tony Chang is now a WebKit reviewer!
Posted by David Levin on Monday, August 2nd, 2010 at 10:39 amTony has made a significant contribution to getting Chromium’s DumpRenderTree running, implementing many of the Linux related bits. He has also fixed a large number of bugs and crashes in editing and related parts of the codebase. Leading up to the Chromium launch Tony wrote much of the Chromium port code that has made its way into the WebKit repository.
Please join me in congratulating Tony on his reviewer status!

Congratulations Tony!
p.s. All news on “Blog” page of webkit.org are about new WebKit reviewers now. I wonder if there’s something else happening around webkit. Did engine get better during last months? Are there new ports?

I agree. Others working in the browser space, such as Mozilla, Microsoft and Opera communicate frequently via blog posts aimed at developers, but there doesn’t seem to be much coming from the Webkit team at all. It’s strange that when the web is in such a period of rapid advancement, with all the focus on HTML5 and related technologies, that we hear almost nothing on the official Webkit blog.
