Adam Barth and Dave Levin are now WebKit reviewers

Posted by Eric Seidel on Monday, June 8th, 2009 at 3:13 pm

Adam has been a long-time contributer of security fixes. Dave comes to us through the Chromium porting effort and has done quite a bit of work on HTML5 Workers as well. Please join me in congratulating Adam and Dave on their reviewer status!

    Congratulations.

I know this is not the place, but with the final release of Safari 4 and the absence of my beloved top tabs, I feel like I’ve been kicked in the gut and someone just ran over my dog. For a few short months I was in browser nirvana, where the content mattered more than the interface. Now I’m stuck once again with so many wasted pixels. I am desperate for a defaults.write preference, or some way to reinstall the previous beta.

Chrome doesn’t cut it because there’s still a lot of wasted space at the top. If Chrome gets rid of that strip of wasted pixels, I will kiss Safari and the WebKit nightlies goodbye.

@Peter: Really? I actually love the extra space in Google Chrome’s titlebar, and hate how everything is cramped up in Safari’s. Admittedly, I am running at 1920×1200, which perhaps gives me more leeway to appreciate the beauty of whitespace.
