In all serious, I&#039;m surprised that the HTML5 spec didn&#039;t just declare rel=&quot;noreferer&quot; an accepted variant of rel=&quot;noreferrer.&quot; Seems the variation is practically guaranteed to cause some confused web developers (especially non-native English speakers).</description>

		<description>It&#039;ll be interesting to see what this does to anti-hotlinking scripts which cover hyperlinks as well as image embedding. I hope they don&#039;t overreact and make it so that direct, copy-pasted links are useless.</description>
